The angling section (HCU, University Angling Club) is affiliated to the SPR.
If you are a member of the staff of the Hanze University or the University of Groningen you can join the SPR and one or more of its sections.
HCU was founded on 1 January 1962.
The club has over 70 members, of whom about 20 take part in our competitive angling matches.
The angling section also organizes angling days.
These days are characterized by a friendly and very sporting atmosphere.
