General information


This is a group lesson incorporating movements from yoga, Pilates and tai chi. Body Balance combines dynamic new techniques with traditional Eastern disciplines. It is designed to improve your posture, suppleness, static strength, coordination and balance. Body Balance is not a fitness workout, so you don’t need a basic level of fitness in order to take part in the workshop.  

Who is it for?

‘Body balance’ is not a fitness workout, which means that those of you who are not particularly fit can also join in. The exercises can be done in different ways, from easy to difficult, to match your particular level.  

What should you bring?

Comfortable clothing. You don’t need sports shoes as you will do the lessons in bare feet. For reasons of hygiene, we advise you to bring a large towel to place on the mat. You may also wish to bring a fleece blanket or jumper for the relaxation part of the lesson.
