The association year is identical to the calendar year.
If you want to join the SPR, please complete the

The form is formatted as a Word document and can be edited in a word processing application. Complete the form, click ‘Save as’, name the document and save it wherever you want on your computer.
Then send the completed form as an attachment to an e-mail to:

The Board will then send you a confirmation of receipt, on presentation of which you can obtain an SPR pass at the Sports Centre (Mon – Fri 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.).
You must have a valid SPR pass if you want to use the Sports Centre.
Make sure you always take the pass with you, as inspections are occasionally held.
Basic membership of SPR costs

per year.
This includes use of the Sport Centre facilities, with the exception of the tennis facilities.

The membership fees are deducted from the monthly salary of University of Groningen, Hanze University Groningen or UMCG staff members.
Non-staff members
who join the SPR during the year must pay membership fees in proportion to the number of months already passed, to a minimum of fifty percent of the full annual fee.
They must transfer their membership fee to giro account no. 924512 in the name of SPR Groningen.
SPR membership is only open to staff and retired staff of the University of Groningen, Hanze University Groningen and the UMCG.
