If you would like to represent the University of Groningen in a sporting event with several colleagues from your faculty or service, sign up for this 6437 metre walk with a team of 7 athletes.
You do not have to be an SPR member to participate.
N.B.
only 17 teams can participate, so sign up asap, it’s ‘first come, first served’!
The order of registration is decisive.
The conditions:

Each team must have 7 athletes – no more and no less.

Drawing up a reserve list is advisable.

Participants must be University of Groningen staff – students, family members etc. are not eligible.

Only two teams per Faculty/service will be sponsored.
The University will pay approximately half the registration fee.

The remaining team costs are then approximately EUR 350.

You are responsible for finding sponsors for this part of the fee yourself (staff kitty, Faculty, etc.);
The other half will be paid by the Board of the University.

Please state your Faculty or service project code (centre code) when you register so that the Communication Office can charge the fee.

Each team must have one team captain who will be the team’s contact person.

Please state all participants’ names and other information when you register
(including their T-shirt size).
The team captain will receive an access code in good time to register all the team details, and if necessary change these, on the 4-Mile Run website.

Once all conditions have been met, the order of registration will determine which teams can participate.

The University of Groningen partially sponsors all University teams. In addition, you will receive a University of Groningen T-shirt.
There will be a private after party for all athletes in the Kappenburgsoos, under the auspices of personnel association De Brug.
