This course is the revised and extended successor of Publishing using Word.

Why should I attend this course?

Word may seem a simple program, but those who ever tried to master numbered lists, tables of contents, (wide) tables, diagrams, or pictures, will know better.

Pictures jumping to another position, numbering that is out of order, diagrams with arrows pointing in the wrong direction, disappearing headers, footers or page numbers. Disasters for those who really need these functions, e.g. for a master or PhD Thesis! This course will bring you back in control!

Contents

  • Using Word/dtp predefined styles and templates for books
  • Creating and modifying styles
  • Creating and modifying templates

NB: Although 80% of this course applies to every Word version, the provided macros are only compatible with Word 2010 (and newer) for Windows.
