Research Lines

Most of the research at our department is concentrated in 5 research lines. A research line combines a set of interrelated projects on which a group of senior and junior members of the program collaborate for a number of years. Usually, research lines crystallize into a seminar or workshop that meets on a regular basis. These are the meeting points for discussing work in progress, including preparation of data collections and statistical modeling, supervising PhD as well as postdoc projects, and for generating new grant proposals.

Applicants for the Ph.D. program or postdoc positions at the graduate school ICS can submit own project proposals that fit into one of the research lines.
