Science competitions

FWN plays an active role in competitions for school pupils. The Olympiads are possibly the best known example. The University of Groningen plays an important national role in the Chemistry and Physics Olympiads. FWN also organizes an annual prize for the best profile assignment (Jan Kommandeur Prize) and it is involved in a number of national and international competitions.
