Title:
On branes, central charges and duality orbits in various supergravity theories
Abstract:
We will define an algebraic characterization for 1/2 BPS p-branes in maximal supergravities. A further analysis, based on the theory of real forms of Lie algebras, will enable us to extend the classification to non maximal theories. Finally we use our results explain orbit stratification for extremal black holes in five and four dimensional sugra.
