Title:

Reformulating holography as RG flow and applications

Abstract:

We show how the holographic correspondence can be reformulated as a RG flow through which we can define a constructive field theory program at strong coupling and large N. This approach also determines the observables of the field theory, which are otherwise obtained by explicitly solving gravity equations and demanding that the solutions do not have naked singularities. We will also discuss how our RG flow construction leads to new non-perturbative frameworks for QCD-like theories, by interpolating with traditional Wilsonian RG flow in the UV.
