Research interests

Peter van der Most is a PhD student at the unit of Genetic Epidemiology & Bioinformatics. He graduated in 2008 at the University of Groningen (bachelor in Life Science & Technology; master in Behavioural & Cognitive Neuroscience), and is interested in the intersection of biology, medicine and technology. Following graduation, he worked for two years at the department of Behavioural Biology with Prof. Simon Verhulst. There he used meta-analysis to study trade-offs between growth and immunity, and quality and quantity of offspring in birds. Currently Peter van der Most is working on novel statistical methods and quality-control tools for the analysis of Genome-Wide Omics data at the unit of Genetic Epidemiology with Prof. Harold Snieder.
