Research lines:

The Medical Biology division is part of the Department of Pathology and Medical Biology of the University Medical Center Groningen, and is headed by Dr. M.H.J. Ruiters. Research at the Medical Biology division consists of seven research lines, focussing on:

• Endothelial Biomedicine & Vascular Drug Targeting
• Matrix accumulation, tissue repair and inflammation (MATRIX)
• Cardiovascular Regenerative Medicine (CAVAREM)
• ImmunoEndocrinology
• Immune Regulation and Ageing
• Experimental Allergy & Lung Diseases (EXPIRE)
• EpiGenetic Editing
