Exhibition in GRID: “Paper Unfolded: Groningers and their paper”

07 June 2017

This summer, GRID Graphical Museum Groningen hosts an exhibition on the graphical basic element paper. Visitors can explore the role and meaning of paper in the lives of Groningers through the ages. Paper facilitated communication, but was also used for packaging and house decoration. A broad range of items - many of them rarely displayed before - tell the remarkable stories of the material, its many functions and its users.

The exhibition is part of the Paper Princes project of ICOG researcher Megan Williams and is organised in collaboration with students and PhD candidates.
