The third edition of the summer school titled 'Africa, China and Europe Intensive Programme in Development Studies (ACE)’ will be held in Morogoro, Tanzania on 6-17 July 2015. ACE 2015 is a partnership programme and platform that brings African, Chinese and European students, lecturers and researchers together in exchange of experiences, interactive learning and working together on specific field research in rural and peri-urban areas in Morogoro – a typical agricultural region in Tanzania.

The Globalisation Studies Groningen (GSG) of the University of Groningen (RuG), Institute of Development Studies (IDS) of Mzumbe University (MU), College of Humanities and Development Studies (COHD) of China Agricultural University (CAU) and School of Social Development and Public Policy of Beijing Normal University (BNU) work together in offering an academically challenging programme of practical value for anyone who has background in Development Studies related subjects.

ACE 2015 is open for students of the Minor Development Studies Programme of the University of Groningen, as well as students from Mzumbe University, Tanzania and Chinese universities. It is also open for a limited number of guest students on tuition basis.

Please note that already 15 students registered for the 2015 programme. No further participants can be taken on.
