When you login to nestor you will see the opening screen as below.
On the screen are three tabs. You will automatically be on the My institution tab. Every tab has different components, which are described below.

My Announcements
Here you will find urgent or temporary announcements (i.e. about changes in the schedule, etc.)

Here you will find an overview of all the courses in which you are enrolled.

Communities are discussiongroups.

My Courses Plus
Here you will find the courses in which you are enrolled. By clicking on a course you will be linked directly to that course and get more specific information about the course.

Course Catalog
Here you will find an overview of all the courses per faculty.
It is often possible to login as a guest to view other courses by clicking on the "preview” button.

My Organizations
Here you will find the organisations in which you are enrolled. By clicking on an organization you will be linked directly to that organization and get more specific information.

Adjusting the style of the opening screen and the content displayed
At the top right-hand corner of the opening screen are two buttons with which you can adjust the style of the opening screen and the content desiplayed on it.

Inhoud van de verschillende onderdelen in het openingsscherm wijzigen
De verschillende onderdelen in het openingsscherm kunnen ook naar eigen inzicht aangepast worden. Elk onderdeel heeft een eigen 'venster' met daarin rechtsboven drie mogelijkheden:
minimaliseren / bewerken / sluiten.

| With this button you can leave the window of the component in question on the opening screen, but minimize it, so that the content is not visible. |
With this button you can adjust the content of the component in question. For example in the 'My courses Plus' component you can select which information on courses will be displayed. |
With this button you can remove a component from the opening screen. NB. some components do not have this option and therefore can not be removed. |
