A nestor course is an online platform in which course information and course material can be placed, and in which teachers and students can communicate with each other.
A new course can be made available by the Nestor co-ordinator at the request of the teacher. To get access to a course you will need a nestor account to login and you will have to be enrolled in that course. Faculty Nestor Support arranges and manages the nestor accounts
and enrollment of teachers. The teacher is responsible for the content and management of his/her course.
To start a course on Nestor, the following things are needed:
-
the teacher must have an account
-
the teacher applies for a new nestorcourse
-
the teacher must be enrolled as "instructor" in that course
-
the teacher manages the content of the course
-
students are enrolled in the course via progRESS
