How do I open Microsoft Office documents in Nestor?

 

Microsoft Office documents can be opened within Internet Explorer / Nestor by clicking on the document link. This can cause problems, for example when printing the file. It is best therefore to open Office documents in the appropriate Office program:

*.doc files in Word
*.xls files in Excel
*.ppt files in Powerpoint
*.mdb files in Access

Right-click on the file and select 'save as'. Save the file to your computer. Open the file in the appropriate program.

It is also possible to configure Internet Explorer to open Office documents in the appropriate Office program instead of in Internet Explorer. Check the Microsoft support website:
