How can I change my password?

 

RuG Students use a central password. This password can be used for thee following services:

* ProgRESS-WWW
* Nestor
* Email

* Flexnet Wifi Network
* Computers on the student network

The password must be changed every 200 days. 10 days before the password expires, an email is sent to the student email account announcing that the password will expire en that it needs to be changed. The password can be changed  here  (or via a link on the ProgRESS WWW login page: http://progresswww.nl/rug/).

When it is not possible to login (either because you forgot your password or because it has expired) you will have to go the helpdesk at your faculty to reset this password. Don't forget to bring your studentcard! Nestorsupport cannot change the password.
