International Office

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Exchange programme, our LLB programme and the five LLM programmes of our Faculty of Law.

The International Office is the faculty's information and service center for international relations.

The faculty has established international exchange agreements with more than 60 partner universities and faculties of law in and outside of Europe and offers one LLB programme and five LLM programmes in English. For students coming from universities that our Faculty does not have an exchange agreement with, it is possible to participate in a Study Abroad programme.

In September 2011, the Faculty will start a new specialization within the European Law programme: Energy and Climate Law .

The International Office provides:

  • general support and guidance to the foreign law students, LLB, LLM, and exchange, studying in Groningen
  • advice to the Groningen law students about studying abroad, and general support in preparing such a study period

For more information, see this website or contact exchangelaw@rug.nl (exchange students), LLB@rug.nl (LLB students), LLM@rug.nl (LLM students), or studyabroadlaw@rug.nl (Study Abroad students).
