Kees de Vey Mestdagh, Associate Professor of Law&ICT, is founder and manager of the Centre for Law & ICT, and member of the executive board of the department of Legal Theory. He initiated and implemented the Bachelors and Mastersprogramme in Law and ICT at the

. His research is focused at Information Technology Law, Internet Governance (the intersection of institutions, global information and communication technologies, and governance), Privacy and Intelligent Agents and Legal Knowledge Based Systems.
