Before the start of the academic there will be a compulsory introduction for all incoming international students.

Part of the introduction programme is the official University of Groningen Welcoming Ceremony, with an information market where organisations such as the municipality, bank, student associations etc. will be present.
In addition, a Law Faculty introduction session is held, with afterwards an informal drink or lunch to get to know each other.
At the beginning of each semester ESN wil organise an Introduction Weekend for international students in Groningen. More information can be found on the ESN website.
