Transport
Bicycles
There are a lot of bicycle shops in the city. You would rather buy a cheap or even 2nd hand bike than a new one. For a simple 2nd hand bike you should not pay more than approximately €110,-.
The only shop that will by your bicycle back when you leave is the shop near the ACLO sports center.

A round-trip from Groningen Station to Amsterdam Central Station:

Bus
A 'strippenkaart' of 15 'strippen' will cost approximately € 7. Most one-way rides will require 2 'strippen', with the exception of some outer districts, which require 3. When you buy a ticket in the bus, it will be on average twice the price.
