The Pedagogy programme in Groningen
Pedagogy forms part of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, together with the Psychology and Sociology degree programmes. The Behavioural and Social Sciences study human behaviour. While Psychology is about the individual and Sociology about groups of people in society, Pedagogy is about teaching, education and upbringing.
Our Bachelor degree programme in Pedagogical Sciences is a Dutch-language programme that provides broad-based studies over one and half years in which all the general introductory subjects are dealt with. It gives you enough time to get a good impression of the programme, to find your bearings and to go into issues in more depth before you select a specialization:
