Introduction

Welcome to the website of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Sciences. This Department offers a Dutch-language Bachelor of Science programme with two specialisations, three Dutch-language Master of Science programmes, and three English-language Master of Science Programmes. 

Bachelor of Science

The Bachelor of Science programme of this Department is entirely taught in Dutch. In order to enrol to this programme, you have to hold the Dutch high school diploma VWO, the German Abitur, or an equivalent diploma from any other country. If you have a foreign diploma and/or nationality, you moreover have to prove sufficient knowledge of the Dutch language, e.g. by passing the Dutch NT2 exam. If you do not (yet) know enough Dutch to read our information about this programme in Dutch, and/or if you have a foreign high school diploma and/or nationality and plan to enrol in this programme, please contact the academic advisor for this programme, H.B. Master of Science

As for the Master of Science programmes, the Department offers the three English-language programmes Master of Science in Education, Master Educational Sciences Communication and Congenital Deafblindness, and the Faculty-broad Research Master Human Behaviour in Social Contexts. The Department moreover offers the three Dutch-language programmes Master Onderwijskunde, Master Algemeen Pedagogische Wetenschappen, and Master Orthopedagogiek.
