The Department of Pedagogy & Educational Sciences offers degree programmes that focus on education, professional assistance for education, and didactical methods for children and adults.

Bachelor

The Bachelor of Science programme is a three-year, Dutch-language programme leading to the Bachelor of Science in Education. Students specialize in one of the three majors: 

• Pedagogy & Educational Sciences
• Special needs education and youth care 
• Academic Teacher-Training for Primairy Education (AOLB) (Double Degree program from the start)

Master

The Master of Science programmes Pedagogy and Educational Sciences are one-year Dutch language programmes leading to the Master of Science in Education.

De master programme Pedagogy offers two disciplines:

• Pedagogy (general Pedagogy)
• Special needs education and youth care (including the English-language programmes Communication and Congenital Deafblindness and Visual Impairment: Assessment and Support)

De master programme Educational Sciences includes the programme Educational Effectiveness and Instructional design.
