Abstract

The LHC has recorded a wealth of proton collisions in 2011, and is preparing for much more in the coming period. With this data, the ATLAS detector has verified essential processes of the Standard Model. First hints of a Higgs particle have been observed, and the search for new unexpected particles in underway.

In this presentation I will describe the ATLAS experiment at LHC, the data taking and analysis strategies. Then I describe the various measurements and searches that have recently been published by the collaboration.
