Personnel provision for damage insurance

All staff members with a paid appointment at the University of Groningen can now benefit from an attractive collective damage insurance package. The University has made arrangements for a personnel provision with the Centraal Beheer Achmea insurance company.
Both you and your family will be eligible for premium discounts under this provision, for example 22% discount on car insurance and 10% on the ‘woongarant’ homeowners and liability insurance package – which will be increased to 15% if you take out car insurance via the personnel provision as well. The total discount may amount to as much as 35%. You will also be eligible for a 5% discount on permanent travel insurance and will not be charged policy and administration fees.
Staff members who retire or become incapacitated and qualify for incapacity benefit will continue to qualify for this personnel provision. You can also benefit from this provision if you are already insured with Centraal Beheer Achmea.*)

You must arrange all this directly with the insurance company; the University will not interfere in this matter.
