In autumn 2009 a Staff Questionnaire was conducted by the University of Groningen.
The results of this questionnaire showed that University staff members give an average mark of 7.4 for how satisfied they are with their work (in 2005 this was a 7.3), and an average mark of 7.1 for the University of Groningen as their employer (2005: 6.8).
Compared to 2005, major and minor improvements have been achieved on almost all questionnaire topics.
The results also revealed points for attention, at University level as well as at Faculty/service level.
The University-wide attention points have been or will be tackled by Human Resource Management (P&O-RUG).
The Board of the University and the faculty boards and directors discussed the attention points for the different faculties and services in the administrative meetings last spring.
The aim of this webpage is to provide University of Groningen staff members with feedback on the different actions that have been taken by the faculties, services and P&O-RUG on the basis of the 2009 Staff Questionnaire. To this end, in early December 2010 the faculty boards and directors and the heads of P&O and P&O-RUG were asked to put on paper what has been done/is being done within the faculty/service with the results of the Staff Questionnaire.
