RUGplanner

RUGplanner is the electronic calendar for RUG-employees. This central system enables you to schedule meetings with other RUG staff through one single calendar.

The most important characteristics of RUGplanner:

• The calendar uses Oracle Calendar;
• One needs to sign in to the calendar with the RUGnummer (RUGnumber) (the same account that is used for logging on at your workstation);
• The calendar offers the possibility to schedule meetings with staff from various RUG faculties/units;
• It is possible for a group to manage an calendar (for example the helpdesk, the administration);
• Due to privacy regulations by default only the time slot of a meeting will be visible and not the details of the meeting itself (you can change this for your calendar if you wish);
• The calendar can also be used over the internet, enabling you to consult your electronic calendar at home or elsewhere.
