The Human Resources Department aims to contribute to the University of Groningen’s success by:

• formulating HR policy that supports the organization in realizing its objectives of providing excellent teaching, excellent research and excellent support
• developing and maintaining suitable HR programmes and instruments
• providing information, support and advice to managers and staff in performing HR activities
• efficiently implementing the associated administrative processes.

The HR Department is headed by HR Director Ms M.T.J. Stolp and comprises 5 subdepartments:

• HR-Experts
• HR-Advice
• HR-Services
• HR-Support
