Health and wellbeing

Occupational health focuses on protecting and promoting the health and wellbeing of people in their work situation and on a good balance between individuals and their jobs. Our physicians, social workers, nurse and physiotherapist work closely together in the field of health and wellbeing. Needless to say, they take their duty of professional confidentiality very seriously.

We aim to assist people with health problems as much as possible in getting back to work or in their efforts to keep working. This may concern cases of sick leave as well as preventive advice, for example in the event of RSI-related complaints and the setup of your workstation, or a discussion and advice about lifestyle-related topics such as obesity, reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, etc.

Through consultation hours, individual medical tests and periodic health and safety checks we analyse health risks and provide advice to employers and employees to prevent sick leave, incapacity for work and stress.

Finally: Occupational health aims to be preventive as far as possible. You don’t have to be on sick leave to contact the AMD when you have questions about you r health in relation to your work.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to know how you can improve your health.
