What is UTQ registration?
UTQ registration enables you to prove, on the basis of a portfolio compiled by you, that you satisfy the
quality requirements
for teaching at the University of Groningen.
|
|
For whom is UTQ registration intended?
UTQ registration is intended for University of Groningen lecturers with more than 5 years of teaching experience in higher education.
|
|
Why is gaining UTQ registration so important?
UTQ registration is not only an important tool in improving teaching quality, it also enables you to reflect on and improve your own teaching. The UTQ certificate is recognized by all Dutch universities and means you are qualified to teach at all these universities.
|
|
How can I gain UTQ registration?
In order to gain UTQ registration you must compile a portfolio, which will then be assessed by the faculty UTQ registration committee. The
UTQ contact person
for your faculty will be able to tell you more about the various
steps
you should take.
|
In addition to your faculty contact person
you can also contact the lecturer professionalization coordinator,
Jaap Mulder,
for more information or if you have any questions.
