Research in life sciences is carried out in four research institutes: Centre for Behaviour and neurosciences (CBN), Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Studies (CEES), Groningen Biomolecular sciences and Biotechnology Institute (GBB) and Groningen Research Institute for Pharmacy (GRIP).
