Services of the Placement Office

For Arts students, the Placement Office:

• Informs students about placement possibilities and regulations
• Guides students in finding placements
• Takes care of all formal organisational aspects
• Informs students about placement vacancies
• Organises information meetings
• Offers information about previous placements
• Offers activities with regard to employment possibilities and career advice, for example workshops about preparing for an interview
• Advises students about grants and funds, visa and insurances

For teachers, the Placement Office:

• Provides a placement manual
• Handles adminstration of placements
• Signs placement contracts on behalf of the faculty
• Informs teachers about supervision and assessment
• Recruitement and selection of placement vacancies

For placement providers, the Placement Office:

• Provides a placement manual (available via stages.let@rug.nl)
• Provides advise about the possibilities of a placement
• Formulates placement vacancies
• Posts placement vacancies
• Provides placement contracts
• Informs placement providers about supervision and assessment
