Master's degree programmes

Faculty of Arts

Master’s degree programmes are postgraduate programmes that students can enter after completing their Bachelor’s degree programme. After completing a Master's programme at the Faculty of Arts, students are awarded a Master of Arts (MA) degree. Our Masters can be 1-year (60 ECTS credit), 18 months (90 ECTS credit) or 2-year (120 ECTS credit) programmes. Holders of a Master degree are eligible to apply for a PhD programme.
International Master's programmes

The Faculty of Arts offers several international Master’s degree programmes, which are all taught in English. The selection procedures differ per programme; mostly they are based on evaluation of degree certificates, proficiency in English, transcripts of records and motivation.

Dutch programmes

In addition to the programmes set up for international students, there is a possibility to choose one of the study programmes with Dutch as the language of instruction. If you want to enroll as a regular student, starting a full degree Dutch Master programme, then you need to check the entry requirements  [DOC]before you apply for one of the programmes at the Faculty of Arts. Here you will find a list of all the Master's degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Arts.

Another possibility would be to apply for a scholarship or fellowship programme .
