 GIA Research Seminars / Capita Selecta

The Groningen Institute of Archaeology regularly hosts lectures on a wide range of topics. In the GIA Research Seminar series, staff members, PhD students and Research Master students present their research problems and results to fellow researchers, in order to foster discussion beyond the limited scope of individual projects. The GIA Capita Selecta series features lectures by guest speakers from other universities and organisations in the Netherlands and abroad. Research Seminars are held every last Tuesday of the month, Capita Selecta lectures are held irregularly.
