The Arctic Centre provides multidisciplinary education for student of various disciplines at bachelor and master level.
Bachelor level
The minor Arctic and Antarctic Studies can be followed as full-time education in the first semester or as a part-time course of 10 ECTS in each first semester over three years.
Biology or geography students can follow this university minor as full-time education in the first semester.
For students of the Faculty of Arts, there are alternative options. They can follow 20 ECTS of our courses as a specialty or just one of our 10 ECTS courses in their free study space.

Master level
The Arctic Centre organises a 2 ECTS course Sustainability of People in the Polar Regions. This course is also for PhD students. For a description of the course click here.This course can be followed together with a 8 ECTS course Polar Ecology given at the Biology Deparment of the Faculty of Science.
Alternatively, we can extend the course to a regular 10 ECTS course by a personalized programma.
Students Archeology can follow a specialisation track Arctic and Antarctic Studies in the research master Art history and archeology.
