Information about Honours College for students of the Faculty of Arts

When: Tuesdag, January 10

Time: 14.00-15.00 p.m.

Location: A900 (Academy building)

The honours college is for students who want a challenge, look across frontiers, who want to get more out of their degree than just a certificate, and who want to make a difference!

The honours College will give talented, motivated students the chance to be challenged even more by following the honours programme and taking part in numerous other activities.

Within the Bachelor you do this by attending an additional programme of 45 ECTS credits. You will follow this programme alongside your regular Bachelor’s degree program worth 180 ECTS credits. This extra programme will start after the first semester of the first year and will comprise units that both deepen and broaden knowledge. The in-depth parts will be related to your own degree programme and will be followed at your own faculty. The broadening parts involve intensive contact with other honours students from all the other faculties. This is where you will look beyond the frontiers of your own discipline and where personal development plays a central role.

Within the Master you do this by following the master honours track leadership, an extra programme of 15 ECTS credits. You will acquire knowledge about leadership theories and their skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
