Accelerator and Ion Source Research

The people of the AGOR accelerator group have three main areas of research:

• Accelerator Physics (Sytze Brandenburg, Mariet Hofstee)
• Ion Sources (Hans Beijers, Vladimir Mironov)
• Irradiations and Radiobiology (Reint Ostendorf, Emiel van der Graaf, Marc-Jan van Goethem)

Undergraduate and graduate students participate in the research of the group.

In addition the group provides support to the accelerator staff for the operation of the AGOR facility as well as support to clients of the AGORFIRM In-Air-Irradiation Facility [PDF].
