KVI pursues high quality, innovative, front-line research in fundamental and applied atomic and subatomic physics, both experimentally and theoretically. KVI has local atomic and subatomic facilities and also pursues experiments at the best experimental facilities worldwide. The expertise built up at KVI is available to the community. Education and training of Bachelor, Master and PhD students, as well as postdocs, plays a central role.
