JoMiTE stands for Joint Models in Teacher Education. It is a network of universities throughout Europe who have agreed upon a program that makes it easier for student teachers to exchange. The general idea of JoMiTE is that student teachers for secondary education, teaching a subject, go to two other countries to practice their teaching and following courses. In principle you stay 3 months in each of the both other countries. It is common to do this in one semester, but that is not obligatory. Note, however, that it is necessary that the visits to both other countries are adjacent if you want to apply for an Erasmus grant.
The JoMiTE program consists of four blocks of 15 ECTS each. The first block (instructor) will be always done at the home university. Two of the other three blocks will be done abroad.
