Argonauts of Europe is a project which will involve the development and implementation of a mobility framework, and a course with teaching practice for foreign student teachers at eight teacher training institutes.

The Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) is a non-governmental non-profit European organisation, aiming at enhancing the quality of Teacher Education in Europe and supporting the professional development of teachers and teacher educators, at all levels.

The EMETT project wants to create a tool aiming at both developing a comparative research on teacher training practices and stimulating an innovation process in this domain by means of the European training of teachers and teacher trainers.

The ETEPS ( European Teacher Education for Primary Schools) project will bring together teacher education institutions in 6 different countries to analyze, compare and choose best practices in teacher education as a background for developing a teacher education program for primary schools on a European level. The consortium will develop an integrated programme leading to a full bachelor degree recognized in the participating countries and building on the idea that the best qualified academic staff in the participating institutions should be used to facilitate the education of the coming teacher regardless of the nationality of the staff.

TUNING Educational Structures in Europe started in 2000 as a project to link the political objectives of the Bologna Process and at a later stage the Lisbon Strategy to the higher educational sector. Over time Tuning has developed into a Process , an approach to re(design), develop, implement, evaluate and enhance quality first, second and third cycle degree programmes. The Tuning outcomes as well as its tools are presented in a range of Tuning publications, which institutions and their academics are invited to test and use in their own setting. The Tuning approach has been developed by and is meant for higher education institutions.
