Cultural differences

An important objective of this project is that student teachers learn from the different cultures in the countries where they will study and do their teaching practice.

However, although the partners are experienced in teacher education and distance education, little is known yet about how to make students cultural sensitive in a joint curriculum. Therefore we think it is necessary to do a literature study about how to design a joint curriculum with respect to the different cultures.

This resulted in a report with literture references about how to design a curriculum with different partners where the students can learn from those different cultures.

Furthermore, for teaching students within the JoMiTE program about cultural sensitivity, we make use of a course designed by another EU funded project: SPriTE. Click here for information about that course
