The subject science in secondary education is a rather complex one in Europe. There are many different ideas about what belongs to science and what does not.
Some countries add biology to science, some do not. In some countries physics, chemistry and biology are totally separated, in other countries these subjects are combined in one subject science.
In this work package we defined objectives for the course pedagogical content knowledge (also known as "subject didactics) in science. On base of these objectives the partners designed their own pedagogical content knowledge courses, with regard to the own culture and philosophy.
