Within this work package we defined objectives for the course pedagogical content knowledge (also known as "subject didactics") in mathematics education. On base of these objectives the partners designed their own pedagogical content knowledge courses, with regard to the own culture and philosophy.
Furthermore, lecturers exchanged materials to further develop their own courses and we developed within the electronic learning platform space for further exchange and common activities within each of the subjects.
Mathematics has been part of the pilots of student exchanges in 2009/2010. The experiences showed that it was possible to organize the subject didactics courses for these students. Students called these type of courses very usefull, as the way how subjects are taught in different countries is rather specific and different.
