Page content: This page contains extra information for foreign students who are thinking about studying computer science in Groningen.
Admission & DeadlineForeign students who wish to do part of their master's programme at our Faculty, can do an English study programme for a period of 3-12 months. Students from institutions included in the list of partner universities from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (click on `our international network'/ Coïmbra Group, 30 European universities, list of non-EU universities) can apply for admission as exchange students through the selection procedure at the home university. Students from other institutions can directly apply by sending a message to the contact person for the corresponding master study. See the list . In all applications a list of academic records must be enclosed! Deadline for registration for the first semester: 15 May. Deadline for registration for the second semester: 15 October. Students who want to obtain a bachelor or master certificate from our institution must be registered as regular students. Check the admission procedure for the specific conditions. Course summariesExchange students may select courses from the master programs in computing science, mathematics, technical mathematics, and business mathematics. Check the course catalog for English summaries. (Select `informatica' for computing science, and `wiskunde' for all mathematics disciplines. Within the mathematics master programs you then select `wiskunde' for mathematics / `technische wiskunde' for tecnical mathematics, which is the engineering master program / `bedrijfswiskunde' for business mathematics) Contact information
