Page content: We offer several interesting Master's programs in Computing Science for those who want to continue their education in Computing Science. The programs are taught in English and open to both Dutch and international students. Groningen is a great town and studying here will give you many interesting opportunities.
The variants of the Master's programThere are several variants within the Master's program: the P-variants are meant as preparation for a career as a researcher, while the M-variants are aimed more at those interested in a career in industry.
Why choose Groningen?There are many reasons why you might want to choose Groningen as the place to study Computing Science. The city has received awards for best inner city, best student city and European city with the highest quality of life. But the university also has plenty to offer, like great facilities and very accessible teachers.
Student projectsWithin the Master's program Computing Science there are many interesting projects to be done. For the course Introduction to Computational Science you will investigate and present a research topic of your own choice, and at the Student Colloquium you will learn how to write and present a scientific paper in a mini-conference.
