Education

Many faculties offer courses related to globalization, development and humanitarianism. The GSG stimulates and supports these when necessary. In addition, GSG is very active in stimulating the development of new programmes with a global and development orientation, such as the NOHA European Masters Programme and the Minor Development Studies.

NOHA is In September 2000 the University of Groningen launched this programme on Humanitarian Action in cooporation with seven well-known universities in Europe. The interdisciplinary MA-programme Humanitarian Action (90 ECTS) of the University of Groningen is offered by the Faculty of Arts, Department of History and International Organisations, in close cooperation with the Faculties of Law, Medical Sciences, Economics, Social Sciences, Spatial Sciences and Management & Organisation.
