Multivariate Analyses: How to Handle Three Variables
The three main types of 'third variable effects', interaction, confounding, and mediation, are dealt with in depth. Students will have ample opportunity to practice with datasets. Students will learn about the ways one or more 'third variables' can influence the relationship between the two focal variables. Students will learn to use a theoretical model to handle interaction, confounding and mediation. 2 ECTS credit points
