During the course the pediatricians of the Beatrix Children’s Hospital will provide demonstration of patients, lectures, workshops etc. to point out several aspects of the subject. In general this means that the morning programme tends to be rather passive (patient demonstration, lectures) and the afternoon programme rather active (workshops, visits).
The objective of the Medical Sciences Summer School Pediatrics has slightly changed this year; our main focus will be on research. We will be choosing students based on their motivation letter and their interest in research and writing abstracts. The subjects we will be following are:

Friday: Liver Transplantation
The social programme will include an introduction weekend in Groningen and a visit to Amsterdam (the last weekend).
