3 tenure track positions available in the Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme at Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences

05 December 2016

The University of Groningen initiated the prestigious Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme to promote the advancement of talented international researchers at the highest levels of the institution. The ambitious programme has been running since 2003 and has financed over seventy Fellows. The Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme is aimed at women in industry, academia or research institutes who have a PhD and aspire a career as full professor in a European top research university. The Fellowship is only awarded to outstanding researchers. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an independent, largely externally funded research programme in collaboration with colleagues at our University and elsewhere. They will also be expected to participate in and contribute to the development of the teaching programme of their discipline. The University of Groningen has around 30 tenure track positions available in this programme, currently co-funded by the European Union. We invite ambitious female academics to apply for these positions.

Three RFF positions in the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences

Three RFF Tenure Track positions are now available in the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. Rosalind Franklin Fellows are expected to develop an internationally competitive line of research in a relevant field. They will work in the area of their choice and pursue their research in one of the four departments of the Faculty. Applicants with expertise that dovetails with the Faculty profile (Psychology, Sociology, Pedagogical and Educational Sciences, Teacher Training) are welcome to apply. The Rosalind Franklin Fellows will have a dual task, working in both research and teaching with each of these comprising approximately 50% of their appointment. Candidates will contribute to the regular Bachelor’s & Master’s degree programmes as well as to the Research Master programme . We offer a dynamic, cooperative, and inspiring place to work, and hope to attract top-notch female academics who will further contribute to this stimulating atmosphere.
